Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using MenuNations (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Site.

Who Can Use MenuNations

What You Can Do

• Read, browse, and bookmark Content for personal, non-commercial use.
• Share links to our pages on social media, blogs, or forums — we encourage this.
• Quote brief excerpts (up to 100 words) with proper attribution and a link back to the original page.
• Print individual guide pages for personal reference while travelling or dining.

What You Cannot Do

• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute entire guides or substantial portions of Content without our prior written permission.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract menu data, prices, or any Content from the Site using automated tools, bots, or scripts — whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Content You Submit to Us

We welcome corrections, suggestions, and contributions from our readers. By submitting any material to MenuNations — whether through our contact form, email, or any other channel — you agree to the following:

• You grant us a licence to use your submission. By sending us a menu correction, restaurant suggestion, photograph, or any other material, you grant MenuNations a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display that submission in connection with operating and improving the Site. This allows us to, for example, update a guide based on your price correction or publish a contributor tip.
• You confirm the submission is yours to share. You warrant that you have the right to submit the material and that doing so does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• We may credit you. Where appropriate, we will credit you for corrections or contributions (e.g., “Price update submitted by Sarah C.”). If you prefer not to be credited, let us know in your submission.
• We are not obligated to use your submission. We receive many suggestions and cannot guarantee that every one will result in a published update or guide.

Acceptable Use of the Site

MenuNations exists to help people make informed dining decisions. We expect all Users to interact with the Site in good faith. The following behaviours are expressly prohibited:

• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any associated systems.
• Using the Site to distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Engaging in any activity that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure — including scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or excessive automated requests.
• Submitting false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate information through our contact or correction forms.
• Using the Site to harass, impersonate, or defame any individual or entity.
• Attempting to bypass any security or access controls we have in place.
• Using the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to block access to any User who violates these provisions — temporarily or permanently, at our sole discretion, and without prior notice where circumstances warrant it.

Menu Accuracy & Disclaimer

We work hard to keep MenuNations accurate. As described in our About page, we verify prices through in-restaurant visits, official app data, and direct contact — and we maintain a 90-day verification protocol for all published guides.

However: restaurant menus change frequently. Prices shift with supply chains, seasonal availability, and local economics. A menu guide that was accurate at publication may not reflect today’s prices. By using the Site, you acknowledge that:

• Menu information is provided for general reference only and should not be relied upon as definitive or guaranteed.
• Prices displayed may differ from what a restaurant actually charges — particularly for limited-time offers, regional variations, or delivery-platform pricing.
• Nutritional and allergen information is sourced from official restaurant disclosures where available, but should be verified directly with the restaurant if you have specific dietary requirements or severe allergies.
• We do not warrant that any Content on the Site is complete, current, or error-free — though we make every reasonable effort to keep it so.

Links to Third-Party Websites

Our guides sometimes include links to restaurant websites, delivery platforms, booking services, or other external resources. These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of the linked site, its operator, or its content.

MenuNations has no control over third-party websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. If you choose to follow a link to an external site, you do so at your own discretion. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MenuNations Media Ltd, its directors, employees, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the Site or its Content.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Financial loss resulting from reliance on menu prices or other Content that is later found to be inaccurate.
• Any adverse reaction, allergic response, or health issue arising from food consumed based on information published on the Site.

If you are using the Site as a consumer in a jurisdiction that does not permit certain limitations of liability, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MenuNations Media Ltd and its directors, employees, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or connected to:

• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Your infringement of any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Any material you submit to MenuNations that causes harm or liability to a third party.

Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to MenuNations, its users, or third parties.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations — shall continue to apply after any termination.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms — including non-contractual disputes — shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

However, if you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived by agreement, these Terms do not affect those rights. You may also be entitled to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
